In Washington State, there are 15 electric charging stations on what they call the “electric highway.” Of course, when it comes to finding the best stations to charge your electric car, you want something fast. In Washington, EV drivers will find fast charging stations along Interstate 5, US 2, and parts of I-90. The state has made providing these stations a priority, offering a seamless charging backbone for drivers. But which electric charging stations are considered the best? Here are the top seven.

Sehome Village Shopping Center

According to Plug Share, the charging station at the Sehome Village Shopping Center is highly rated among EV drivers. It is just off Interstate 5. The exact address is as follows:

There are three chargers available at this location. Available plug types include CCS1, CHAdeMO, and J-1772. Payment is required to charge. The fee is $0.49/kWh. Level 2 charging costs $0.29/kWh. What makes this charging station one of the best is its location. Right next door there is a Starbucks with free WiFi. There are also several other shops and restaurants nearby.

Shell Station & Tumwater Deli Mart

DCFC and Level 2 chargers are available at this location. The fee for charging is the same as listed above. Similarly, there are also three chargers available with the same type of plugs. The address where this EV charging station is located is:

There isn’t as much to do around this charging station. So, you may be left up to your own devices while you car your vehicle. However, drivers have found this spot to be a reliable way to charge their vehicles off Interstate 5.

Skykomish Sky Deli

You’ll find two electric charging stations at the Sky Deli in Skykomish, WA. Here is the address for this location:

It is listed among the best because it is conveniently located to US 2. Not to mention, there’s a great deli right there and you might be able to catch a view of the South Fork Skykomish River. You’ll pay $0.49/kWh, with Level 2 costing $0.29/kWh. There are only two chargers available here, but it doesn’t seem to be overly busy.

Leavenworth City Hall

You’ll find three chargers at the Leavenworth City Hall. Payment details and charging capabilities are the same as the others listed here. If you need to pinpoint the location, the exact address is:

As you can imagine, this charging station is located at the center of Leavenworth, WA. So, there is plenty to do in the area while you’re waiting for your vehicle to charge. You can visit the town library or check out one of the nearby restaurants. There’s also the Nutcracker Museum across the street. This makes it one of the best places to stop and charge your car in Washington State.

Wenatchee Convention Center

This charging spot is great if you’re in a hurry and don’t need a lot of juice to get where you are going. Many travelers or people headed to the convention center for events use the charger. That’s right – there is only one. However, there are several within a half-mile radius. So, if this location is busy there are plenty of others nearby, making it one of the best locations. The address for this station is:

As mentioned, there is only one charging station here. It only has the J-1772 plug available. That said, there is plenty of stuff to do nearby, and could be a great stopping place for someone traveling in the area. Oh, and did I mention it’s FREE?

Silver Fir Lodge

Silver Fir Lodge is another great spot to charge your EV in Washington State. This location has a total of nine charging stations, six of which are Tesla-specific. You can find them by going to this address:

It is conveniently located off I-90. There are two types of plugs available: J-1772, and NACS (Tesla). You’ll find places to eat nearby as well as public restrooms. Not to mention, it’s free to charge here, making it one of the top places to stop in the state.

Suncadia Resort

Only guests can charge their EVs at the Suncadia Resort. That aside, it’s still one of the best electric charging stations in the state of Washington. This charger is off the beaten path a bit:

You’ll find eight charging stations at this location. The available plug types are CCS1, CHAdeMO, and J-1772. DCFC  will cost $0.49/kWh, while Level 2 costs $0.29/kWh. Again, you’ll need to be a guest at the resort, but if you are, this seems to be a highly suggested spot to stop.
